Eligibility Restrictions

Many of the items offered by the UCLA Computer Store may be sold only to eligible purchasers (for instance, faculty, staff, or students of UCLA). Please note the eligibility codes and requirements for each:


DEPARTMENTS - Using Purchase Orders (PO), Limited Value Orders (LVO), or Pro Card with UCLA ID only
FACULTY - UCLA Faculty with current UCLA ID only
STAFF - UCLA and ASUCLA staff with current UCLA ID only
UCLA EXTENSION STUDENTS - must provide current and qualified enrollment receipt and photo ID
UCLA STUDENTS - ONLY Full-time UCLA students with current UCLA ID only

UCLA Computer Store Tech Zone - Maintenance & Repair Services
Repair Services (Mac Only)
Repair Labor $80/hour
Minimum Inspection Fee $45
Inspection included in repair costs. Only charged separately when no repair is authorized. All repairs are covered under a minimum 30-day labor and parts warranty.

We have experienced technicians on the premises Monday through Friday, and our service desk is open for drop-offs on weekends.

Macintosh Hardware: We are a certified Apple Service Center for all Macintosh computers and monitors. We maintain an extensive inventory of Apple parts and diagnostic equipment.

* All repairs are covered under a minimum 30-day labor and 90-day parts warranty, or as specified by manufacturer. All warranties are manufacturers' warranties unless otherwise specified. The UCLA Store recommends regular data backup; we assume no responsibility for lost data. Items left in the store over 90 days will become the property of the UCLA Store. Prices do not include parts. Payment and Return Policies

Return Policy: All computer hardware and peripheral sales are final (no returns) subject to manufacturers' warranty. Software is eligible for 14-day return if unopened; receipt required. Defective software may be exchanged for the same title only.
Pricing: All prices are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to post the most current price on our website. However, we are not responsible for inadvertent input errors or delays in reporting price changes. Sales tax of 9% will be added to listed prices.
Payment: We accept payment by currency, cashier's check, University Credit Union Withdrawal Check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Personal checks are accepted up to $1,000; checks must be drawn on a California bank, and must be imprinted with the customer's name and address.
Valid picture ID must be presented at the time of check acceptance: UCLA faculty, staff or student identification (BruinCard), or a valid California Driver's License, or a California ID card. Money orders are not accepted.
