TEXTBOOKS FAQs for REMOTE LEARNING

How will I get my course materials?
Course materials will continue to be available online from the UCLA Store. We recommend logging in to your MyUCLA account or via the UCLA Store textbook site to view and shop for all your course materials.


What delivery options are available?
In an effort to support students in remote learning, the UCLA Store is currently offering Free standard shipping on textbook orders $50.00 or more. No promotional code is needed; the discount will automatically apply for eligible orders. Additionally, we will continue to offer Free Housing Mail Center delivery. Check our website or the ASUCLA app for store hours. 


Can I get a digital version of my textbook?
Yes! We have a large number of eBooks available on our website and all UCLA Store course readers are available in a digital format.  Additionally, you can search all available eBooks from either of our eBook partners via our Textbook home page.


How can I rent books from the UCLA Store for the upcoming Summer A & C sessions?
You can now rent books online from the UCLA Store!  Simply select the Used or New books you wish to rent from the UCLA Store.  On the Secure Checkout page, in the Gift Message box, enter your Bruin ID# and your official campus email address on file with the UCLA Registrar.  We will use that information in the processing of your rental order and we’ll take care of the rest.  All Spring rentals must be received back in-store by September 18th, 2020.  All other rental and refund policies apply.  View Rental Agreement


How can I charge books to my BruinBill (BAR Account) from the UCLA Store?
Simply select the eBooks, Used or New books you wish to purchase or rent from the UCLA Store.  Please note, only New, Used and Rental books can be charged to your BruinBill. eBooks will be charged to the credit card entered at checkout. On the Secure Checkout page, in the Gift Message box, enter the note “Charge to my BruinBill,” your Bruin ID# and your official email address on file with the UCLA Registrar.  We will process your order in-store and the items to be charged to BruinBill will then be listed as cancelled.  Your order will then be delivered using the Ship Via method you selected. 


How can I return books if needed?
We have you covered! While UCLA conducts remote learning, you can return purchases at your own expense via UPS or FedEx (no USPS). If you choose to ship a return, ship only via UPS or FedEx and we highly recommend insuring your shipment. Return shipments must be delivered by the standard return deadline. Please include a copy of your purchase receipt or packing list.

I rented books. How do I return rental books at the end of my Summer Session courses?
Summer Session A & C rental books must be received no later than September 18th, 2020 but you may ship your return via UPS or FedEx. If returning by UPS or FedEx at your expense, we highly recommend insuring your shipment. Please include your Name, Bruin card number and email address with the rental return and ship to:

I have books to sell.  How do I sell back my books?
We have a NEW Buyback program for you!  We are excited to announce an Online Buyback program with FREE shipping! Visit our Buyback Information page for details.  Online textbook buyback quotes are valid for 30 days and included FREE shipping via a prepaid shipping label.
